This project begins in a foundry in Hanoi with the discovery of a Taoist sculpture of a virgin in poor condition, made of wood and clay. On my return, the sculpture was blocked for several weeks by Vietnamese customs for fear that it was an archaeological piece. As the packaging was not redone, his arms and face were broken during transport. I have then, from memory, reproduced pieces of faces as well as these limbs in different positions ranging from grimaces to insults.
