This project begins in the ceramic village of Bat Trang near Hanoi. There I recovered broken pottery depicting scenes from Asian life, as well as pottery with a dragon in relief. I filled in the missing parts using a cast of the dragon vase. I choose to represent a dragon attacking the characters present on the main pottery. A threatening, Western vision of this chimera.
